![]() I have a Iodine/Iodide seachem test kit that I cant seem to figure out. I tried the control first as it suggests but I do not get any colour change. I also tested the water with no change in colour. Posible bad kit maybe?

![]() Maybe no iodine? It gets skimmed out fairly quickly, and animals consume it pretty good too... clams, shrimp... most corals... most successes seem to come when kept at a range of .06 - .08 ppm. My Seachem kit has a reference solution to validate the test kit as well...

![]() I can't see a Exp. date, and the problem is that the reference solution does not change colour. So I can't test the water.
