This just happened to me with one of my BTA's.
You need pristine water conditions and so on if you want that thing to survive at all. It is pretty torn up, It just needs to sit... Obviously if it's stinky it's garbage.. if it starts rotting in the tank take it out right away as your only risking the chance of killing more of your anemones and corals......
