What, no one here keeps marine fish?

Funny, the cichlid heads go nuts over this food, but in Canada it seems there's very few SW people that have heard of it, or at least tried it?

Check out Joe Yaiullo's tank, he uses New Life Spectrum.

As does the Columbus Zoo, Mystic Aquarium in CT, the World Wildlife Zoo in Phoenix AZ, as well as many others.

Seems pretty generic unless I am missing something. I buy food for herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores....sw.

Hi Emily,

The owner of NLS (Pablo Tepoot) has a 2000 gallon SW show tank in his home (he's a SW keeper first & foremost) which contains species such as; Butterfly Fish, Parrot Fish, Philippine Regal Angels, Majestic Angels, Rock Beauty, Moorish Idol, Clown Tang, and Achilles Tang, and they all eat New Life Spectrum exclusively.

Perhaps this will explain things better:

There are lots of myths & misconceptions with regards to fish nutrition, and there are many manufacturers of food who sell their products with slick marketing hype. You won't find that with NLS.

Pablo has been raising & breeding fish for 30+ years, is the author of 4 books, and has the largest African cichlid farm in North America. His food, as well as his fish are shipped world-wide, and with a min order of 2K for his fish, you know he's got to be doing something right.

BTW - here's a link to Pablo's site, and if you click on the "testimonials" on this page you'll see some of the comments left by SW owners.

Here's what the African keepers have to say about it:

Pablo created this line of food close to 7 years ago, but up until very recently when I picked it up, the only way to get it in Canada was to order it up from the US.
In the USA the Marine formula is his #1 seller, and there probably isn't a SW shop in Florida that doesn't carry his food. As you can see by my initial post, many of the larger public Marine centers & zoos in the US also use his food.
