![]() Hey guys, it's the new guy asking more questions again! I picked up a small finger leather frag today... nice looking purple. The problem is that it's not attached to anything. I've heard around the way that fingers can be tricky to get to attach to a rock. Anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to accomplish this? What I've done so far is stuck it in a hole in a rock slightly larger than its base.... should this work? I appreciate all tips... Thanks.
Johnny

![]() If your leather doesn't get blown out of the hole, it should attach in a matter of a few days. You could also try putting the coral in a small container with rubble in it in a low flow area of your tank.
I had problems getting a colt coral to attach, I ended up sewing it to the rock with some thread. I've since removed the thread, and its doing just fine. -Rich |

![]() I've elastic banded them down for a couple of weeks and then just cut the band. Worked fine for me.

![]() I have cut my colt coral a few times and all I have done is used fishing line and a needle sew it to a small rock.I would do the same with my
2' x 2' finger leather when I cut it. Mike |
