![]() Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knew what manufacturers use in powerheads to make it water tight. You know, the epoxy stuff they pour into them that hardens and isolates all their electrical components from the water. If anyone can tell me what they use (or an equivalent to it) and where to possibly purchase it, it would be much appreciated. |

![]() I'm not sure what they use, but slower curing epoxy's are better than the faster (5min) types.
All of them are inert when cured, so a good quality epoxy would be best. The best place to buy this stuff is at a hobby store and Hobby Poxy is a good quality product.(And I think it comes in 500ml cans) Keep in mind the longer the cure time, the tougher the epoxy.(In most cases.)
