I was invited to a Zoom chat room today by a friend of mine in the US and I was very impressed as it was a virtual live tour of peoples tanks in the US and Canada. It was quite impressive and better than expected. At various times there were as many as 90 people in the zoom and it was well organized.

It was an all day event but I could only stay for about an hour and a half. In that time I got to see two tanks one in Toronto and one in Louisiana. The owners of the tanks explained and showed what size their tanks were, what was in them and how long they had been running and all the equipment they used. Then they took written questions for about 20 minutes each on zoom chat. Then the moderator would come in and say that we were moving to a new tank and the process started all over again. Nobody was allowed to speak other than the tank presenter and moderator and all questions were through zoom chat.

I forgot to write down the zoom information so I couldn’t log back in and my friend in the US was no longer online to ask him.

This would be extremely easy to do with either zoom or Google meet. Just need to find someone who is willing to compile a list of willing reefers to show off their tank. Start with 5 or so and build from there.

That is impressive, I also have been taking Zoom classes for my technical courses that I had enrolled in last month through the Simpliv Discount Codes and I am glad that I have been able to continue my study progress even during the pandemic because of Zoom and these educational sites.
