Nero 5

Hi I was looking at getting a Nero 5 and just wondering how you guys like them and if there is anything bad about them . I was wanting to get the mp 10 but don’t really care for the ear muff look to the tank just seeing what ppl like better it will be my first time spending a fare amount of money on a power head

I run a couple of Nero 5. Nice and powerful pump with a small footprint. However, the suction side of the pump is crazy strong even compared to an MP40. I've seen healthy fish swim by and get stuck to the back side of the pump.

Also the magnets aren't strong enough for thicker glass. Anything about 1/2" glass and they are pretty much useless.

Control is nice. The app is nice (when it connects).
