![]() ya i don't know what happened just the last month everything all of a sudden changed! been using Aqua Forest reef salt weekly water changes of 10%. LFS also says give it time! My aquarium is 9 months now so i added some coral which all died the past month! but ya Mag is higher then 1600 , Alkinity is top of chart also and my Calcium is low ! Is there any suggestions on what brand i should start to dose Mag with ? thank you for your input also !

![]() i am using red sea test kits which i heard are one of the best! oh and i add the Seachem Reef Complete directly to the tank! just started today with the stuff, I have a 72 gal tank with i believe around 5 Gal canister and skimmer also that skims up to 100 gal!

Magnesium Alk Calcium Nitrate Phosphate PH Saying off the chart or high isn’t helping us. We need numbers

You might be better off to get your numbers in check to do several large water changes or better yet many many smaller water changes. ![]() 14 is where most Corals die some earlier.
Didn’t read how you’re dosing alk and ca... My tank recently went out of wack too but over the 2 year mark. If your manually dosing ca and alk I would dose ca only and not dose any alk, test every other day and watch the alk slowly go down to 8ish. As you bring up the ca it should stabilize the alk.

![]() KH/ALK=4.9 meq 13.7 dkh , Cal = 50, and Mag is higher then 1600 ppm . oh and and nitrate and PH are low and at safe levels i think ? don't have a phosphate test yet
