There is not a lot of options to get there. Most flights connect through Houston, Newark or Atlanta. From Calgary we fly via Houston. Oh yes, and KLM flies direct almost every day from Amsterdam if you want to go the long way.
Bonaire is all about diving and snorkeling because you can do it all from the shore. Your dive boat is a 4 door rental truck.
This our third trip and we are staying at we are staying at Beachcomber Villas for the third time. If you decide to go, be aware that petty crime is a problem on the island, and you need to choose your accommodations wisely and be careful of what you leave in your vehicle. Inspite of all that, you can't beat it for an affordable and great destination for diving. If you are not a diver or snorkeler, you should go somewhere else.
