In pairs you say, i guess someone should have informed my gerbils of that before one killed the other. Maybe i just got a bad gerbil. They are by far the noiseyest animal i have ever owned though. Dont ever put them in a room with a bad. I contemplated feeding my cat a few times at around 3am.
