![]() Honestly you should just spend the extra on a new heater. I change out my heaters every 12-16 months as many thermostats fail more than less after about a year. I know a few people over the years that have lost thousands due to thermostats failing in the on position. Just my opinion but the two things I would buy new and of good quality are return pumps and heaters. Or go with a used one if you have a reef keeper/apex module to kick off your heater if it decides to crap out an stay on.
