Default Need sump advice....

Well now that my system is up and running I realised that one of the baffles in my sump was too tall. It prvented my skimmer from operating correctly.

I tried to cut the glass in place but that was a failure and the baffle broke.

I now have a couple of options....

1) Leave everything as is (the big chunk that I broke out of the baffle now allows water to flow at close to the level that I wanted)

2) Temporarily modify my return so that the side with the busted baffle is dry and then replace it with a new peice of glass at a lower height (need to drop it 2-3")

3) Remove the baffle all together and just leave it out.
Here is a really crude ASCII diagram of what my baffle configuration is.
The problem baffle was #3 it was too tall and made my skimmer try to float. I couldn't raise the skimmer because I wouldn't be able to remove the collection cup so the only solution was to lower the baffle.
