Freshwater dipping live rock

The reason I didn't want a cycle is because of my livestock. I planned on transferring everything in my tank now to a holding tank and then cleaning up my tank, add new sand, and new live rock, and that way I would avoid a cycle. Then I would start fresh water dipping and transferring every thing back over.
