tennacle things?

I am curious if anyone knows or has ever had these in their tank.The are skinny white arms that seem to go all over the place.They orginate from one piece of my live rock.They don't seem to harm any of the fish,crabs,snails or even my tube worm.I just don't care for the way they look.They catch food as it passes by too.
