Default "Gluing Glass"

I know I'm in the wrong spot for this, but i was hoping someone might have a answer for me.

I had a custom glass top build for a table I made.
It was stupidly a lot of $$$$
it has metal peaces baked on the glass to have rods screw on
anyway fitting the top one popped off because some pressure was put on it.
im not going to name any names, but im a little chocked
sending it back to have it redone, will cost me a lot more money
what would you use to glue Stainless Steel to glass?
its got to be clear when dry

only thing i can think of is crazy glue, will this work?

thanks for any help
