The local big box stores charge between a 100% and 150% mark up for what I am looking for. In addition the staff know almost nothing about what they sell. When they do have livestock that I want, it is in the 'sorry we only sell that to our friends' tanks. <rant mode off> The local specialty stores, love them though I do, don't carry the products I am looking to buy (and if you bothered to read any of my other posts you would see I do buy a lot from them as is) and the livestock they carry is above my skill level or not something they can afford to carry.
