![]() So I think I have my wife talked into letting me put the sump in the basement. I am going to have about 14' -16' of head when all is said and done. I have two options:
1. Use the mag 18 on a closed loop plumbed under tank. And move about 500 gph from the basement. Still get mag noise, but it gets rid of the Euroreef noise. 2. Put a big Tim Taylor pump in the basement and sell the mag 18. The tank is a 75 Gal w 33 gal sump/fuge, I am also thinking about putting a rubbermaid in line to add more water quantity. I am looking for opinions as to which way you would do this. As well what pump would you use and why. Noise is not a big factor as it will be in an insulated room in the basement. Price is the driving factor as the VP Finance has to approve this. ![]() Thanks for your help folks. Cheers, Al |
