![]() I start all of my peppers indoors. I use a 4 bulb t5 fixture used for aquariums. I changed the bulbs that are sutable for plants though. They grow really well and they have produced peppers for me under the lights.
For clarification if you keep a bell pepper next to a jalapeņo they can and will cross pollinate. But it will not affect the heat or flavour from the pepper that is produced. However if you take the seeds from the cross pollinated pepper and grow them, then yes you will have a hybrid pepper plant.
