Figure out how high (or low) it should be by doing some math to subtract 3 or 4 gallons from the refugium. Volume is LxWxH right? Question of the day: how to cut off the baffles?

I want everything to be bulletproof. Already spent a lot so a few more $$$ shouldn't be a problem if that helps me enjoy the tank without any worries.
