Yeah, I've lost control of the algae in the last few months. Plus the stuff that's low is hard to reach with a blade. My Mag-Float isn't strong enough for my glass thickness, I really need a Magnavore. Oh well.

The size is part of the problem with trying to get rid of her, she needs a large tank. However, I don't think it's fair to single out this particular species as being a "unsuitable due to size" fish. Most members of the Acanthurus genus grow very large, the lowly powder blue a case in point, listed on Fishbase at a whopping two feet. Of course I wouldn't agree with Fenner's statement that this fish "stays small enough for most home aquariums". I don't think any properly-maintained tang would really stay small enough for most home aquariums, except maybe the Zebrasoma species'.
