I need some ftp help please

I know this is not aquarium related, but I need to ask one of the resident computer gurus how to use Internet Explorer to ftp files. I can gain access to my web space, but have no idea how to use IE to transfer files.

I always used WS_FTP, but I now get a 550 access denied error. The company hosting my website is not providing a lot of assistance.
