Bubble tip anemone

I recently bought a bubble tip and put it in my tank, my question is why does it seem sometimes to be in distress water is good hand feeding it because clown hasn't hosted yet. Was curious if anyone knew why or if its normal. By distress i mean changes colours and seems sluggish in his movements. Any ideas would be welcome or am i just a paranoid newbie.
