I've never used the D-D crap, but thanks for the heads up.

I've always used the Holdfast stuff, and have recently used the TLF putty. The White-ness of the Holdfast putty looked a little undesirable in open areas, while the Grey TLF putty blends in a little better.

I've always found the Steve-T technique to glue corals/frags down. It's the Glue-Putty-Glue technique that works AWESOME! Just make sure the piece is exactly where you want to place it, cuz it's a bit more work to remove, it works a little too well sometimes. Haha!
