True but he is out against the top line on every team. Im not a fan of plus minus I think its a poor representation of defensive ability. I have no idea why I keep defending him lol...I'd rather he wasn't here as well

That's what a shut down center does... shutting down the other team top line. I am not a big fan of plus/minus either but still, it does show something. And at -23, he's horrible at shutting down anybody.
