i got in touh with my buddy and he has some more info
the par meter is accurate
he has a neptune apex as well and has compared the readings between the two devices and they are similar with an error of 0.5 at times
he prefers the seneye because it has a prediction module which tells you if you need to get on a water change or if your ammonia is rising
i think its a worth it investment
