![]() Only took me 45 minutes to tear down Greg's crate to get to the tank.
Put first coat on CIL Marine Paint on top of the primer. Last tank was all black, and the first thing I noticed was salt creep on the inside of the stand. So this ones gonna be all white inside. ![]() ![]() Here is my first look at the tank and it's in awesome shape.... ![]() ![]() ![]() So, it's time for my first discussion on the build. The overflow is drilled with 2 holes for a 1 1/2" and a 1" bulkhead. It also has a hole drilled at the top of the overflow for another 1" bulkhead for the return. So basically what I have is a setup for a durso standpipe . My concerns are all about safety, as far as overflowing the display if there is a blockage. I had a beananimal previous and it was quiet and worry free. and it would be very easy set up a herbie and just drill a couple of holes for the returns thru the back or even over the top. Suggestions and opinions expected here LOL ![]() ![]() Went hunting for fittings and valves today, HAHHAHHAHA that was funny. Online shopping it is.
