Do anemone's kill shrimp ?

I am wondering because 2 days ago I got an anemone (green bubble tip), my cleaner shrimp that I have had for 3 months is sitting dead in the bottom of my tank. this is the first thing that has died other than what the hermit crabs have killed . I did a water change last night about 20%, the same thing I do every week, I use prime in my water and then let it sit in a cooler with a power head circulating for a about 6 hours while every thing mixes.
