Exactly what we did before we put the 180 on our main floor.

Also you have to consider the extra weight of the sump, if any, and the stand, extra equipment in the area, etc.

And also you never know when the opportunity may arise for you to have that mosh pit in your living room. You don't want to have to be the one to say, "Whoa! whoa guys.. can we take this party to the basement instead? I'm afraid my support beams may not be able to handle it.."
