My Artemis bulbs did not last nearly as long as brand names before needing to be replaced.
Anyone try Twin Arc Bulbs? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aquarium-Ree...item5194b5b1fe I saw these at SEAMAX. They switch beween the two filaments with the idea that you run the 10000K during the day for coral growth when no one is around and have it switch to 20000K later when you are home and you want the colours to pop. Because there are 2 filaments, you can theoretically have the bulbs last twice as long.
