New Era foods why so different
We have been asked many times what makes new Era so different, so I thought we would highlight some of the main differences here.
I think most are now aware of the very high profile New Era has gained themselves not only in the aquarium hobby but more so in the research of fish breeding and marine biology world. More so also within the public aquarium sector. Some big names such as Dubai Mall, Steinhart aquarium, well the list huge to be honest. We are also very proud that Vancouver aquarium research center have been evaluating the Marine flake for some time now with great benefits seen in their breeding program. So what is so different? New Era is unique and this is why it attracts so much attention from the sectors that rely on the highest possible nutritional feed. New Era is not baked, its world renowned concept works on cold compression thus ensuring no possible loss of nutrient in the manufacturing process, you basically are getting raw fish meal that is then enhanced with other ingredients to fine tune the feed to the targeted fish species. Many new users to New Era open a pot up and are immeditaly taken back by the fishmeal fresh smell. The other benefit is palatability, fish in the wild do not eat hard baked lumps do they? Carnivore fish feed on soft tissue whether from scraps of a previous feed or from hunting themselves, their stomachs are geared towards soft meaty diets. Herbivores feed on multiple soft algae's, again not hard lumps. New Era has been developed to mimic this and a fine example of this is where Dubai Mall switched from grinding up tonnes of raw fish meal a month to feed their huge aquarium and switched to New Era as it offered a far more beneficial targeted feed, they have not looked back since. The New Era team has over 20 years experience in the development of marine ornamental aquaculture, hatchery breeding programmes and dietary feeds and supplements. In 1989 our specialists began piloting the very first ornamental marine fish hatchery in Europe to use recirculation and artificial environment technology; in 1994 they played a key role in developing Europe's first commercial Clownfish hatchery and following this, implemented developments for successful breeding programmes for Fire Shrimps and many other species. With conservation and sustainability of great importance, our specialists participated in a consultancy capacity in assisting Project Sea Horse in assessing the potential of sea horse farming in Vietnam and the Philippines. Their specialists maintain that these successes were greatly influenced by understanding and providing a balanced and nutritious food supply. An integral part of our business is our ongoing research and development, particularly in the area of fish health and nutrition. As technology and our understanding of dietary requirements and its effects expand, we endeavour to keep our technical products at the forefront of innovation. NEW ERA SECURES CONTRACT WITH GLOBAL LEISURE GIANTS MERLIN New Era Aquaculture Ltd has secured a deal with Merlin Group to supply all thirty SeaLife Centres across Europe over the next three years. SeaLife Centres, which are part of Merlin Entertainment Group, the second biggest entertainment company in the world after Disney, has secured the contract having successfully been working with New Era Aquaculture for the last year trialling the product ranges for both native and Tropical Marine Species. Merlin are already impressed with New Era’s advanced nutrition and technical feeding strategies which include flakes, pellets and sprays for frozen foods. Toronto Zoo. We are in the early stages of Toromto Zoo now evaluating New Era and thus far the results are as expected from other such trials. Vancouver aquarium and research Center. Proof is in the review Hi Michael, In my opinion, as I've stated before, yet I feel I need to state again, this is by far the best fish food I've come across in 15 years of fish keeping. Every species I have visibly prefers your flake to any other I have, I've actually given away or thrown out all other flake foods I have. Best regards,. Jon Kenny We are very proud to be key distributors of New Era for our close Canadian market. Last edited by Aqua-Digital; 10-06-2011 at 06:02 PM. |
