Sorry for the hijack but this is a favorite subject of mine so I thought I'd butt in. I found it took a very long time for an elegance to heal completely. I've cut up trachyphyllia before and within a few weeks the cut area has completely closed up. With the elegance, it took two or more months for the cuts to heal over.
