When I was making the canopy for my old 72g bowfront I kicked over a can of white oil based paint on the carpet in the room I was working on. Turpentine and a shop vac (admittedly, probably not a great idea anyhow) at 1am. That was a classic "WTF are you doing" discussion with the wife.
 Good luck with the controller. I would suspect it will be OK once it dries out. When I was in Maui a few years ago, I would keep forgetting to take the car key fob out of my swim suit pocket before going snorkeling. At least 3 times that thing made it into the ocean, but it seemed to stay working... :redfaace:
