Buying unfinished stand and canopy in Canada?

If you can actually get to the US, there may well be somewhere that accepts deliveries just the US side of the border. You then go to the states and bring it back in and pay any necessary taxes/duties yourself. It also saves you a bundle in brokerage.
There is a place just south of us (Manitoba) that does it. Admittedly North Dakota won't be much help to you, but if there's someone doing it here, chances are that there's someone nearer you doing the same thing..

Don't know if it's an option, but I thought I'd mention it.

Failing that a plywood cabinet it easier to build than you'd think (I managed ), even the doors aren't that hard really (see the later bits of my tank journal for an example). Or you could get kitchen cabinet doors from Home Depot..
