They may be getting too much light. I'm having a similar problem with some star polyps in my 72 gal bowfront with 3 x 55w of PC light. Have put the star polyps lower in the tank yesterday, and turned off one 55w light. We'll see today if that makes any difference. Next thing I might do is hide the star polyps in a more shaded area of the tank.
