Romain lettuce for Tangs

Hey guys,

Do I have to worry about the lettuce decomposing in my tank if I leave it in the tank too long? My hippo and yellow tang just love the stuff but I'm wondering if It could start to rot after a while causing a nutrient problem.

I know it's just lettuce but with a halide now it doesn't take long for algae to grow if something is wrong.

I hate all these newbie questions :rolleyes:
