![]() Yeah, I'm hearing you on this one as well. It's like a little microcosm of the generations, ie., where every generation has to sort of figure things out for themselves and it's starts by rebelling against the ideals and notions held by the previous generation .. so that you end up with a flip-flop effect where things seem to match closer to "TWO" generations ago ... except in this case, for the hobby, about 2 or 3 years constitutes as a "generation".
In this case each generation also gets subsequently better funded, so the toys get more expensive.
