While Frogspawns can have quite a reach, that one doesn't look like it caused the whiteness you are seeing. Without seeing a better pic of the acro, it doesn't look like the acro is in serious decline to my eye.
However, the Frogspawn will certainly get larger and will start to damage those acros eventually. More immediately, the BTA is more likely to damage the acros.
