no, nothing like that. It has to skim from the top of the water and also provide a internal pump that will pull water through/over chemical/mechanical filter media and then pump it back into the tank.
Basicly I want a regular run of the mill filter with a overflow box attached to it.. but I want it in a nice little package.. Chad
