Bulkhead with a plug in it is the safest, easiest and quickest to do.
Place bulkhead with threads protruding into the tank, make sure you get a bulkhead with threads on the inside:  Place teflon tape around the threads on the plug and then screw the plug into the bulkhead:  Hope this helps. VR
