Did the tank have sand in it before you moved it from your co-workers place to your own? Disturbing this sand can release built up toxins that have fallen under the surface of the sand into non-oxygenated zones to rot. This would poison the water extremely fast. If this is the case I would do a 50% water change pretty much immediately and keep doing 10% every day for a good week.

Thought Id say that right away since time is of the essence if thats the case.
Ya I know the pic's are not working. I am new to inserting photos. does it take a long time to upload or is it somthing I did wrong. Any advise would help.

The tank had sand, live rock, fish and inverts. When I moved the tank. I saved 50% water. The fish, invert and live rock I left at his placed with heaters and air lines. I moved the tank with sand. I set up the tank to running operation and slowly added heated ro water mixed with salt 5G every hour. I put a heater, power head and skimmer in the tank running through the whole prosses. I picked up the fish, inverts, live rock two day later. That was over 9 month ago.
