Sorry, found out I got bad info. Don't know if it was a bad joke by someone at KE's but Eric is alive, just no longer at KE's.
He is not dead but is taking time off from the hobby/industry. So again, my apologies, but just found out from someone who talked to his best friend that Eric is NOT DEAD. Anthony
