What kind of lighting?

Just wondering what people are using for lighting and how happy you are with them.

I bought 2 each of Helios 24" actinic blue's and 11000k daylight's. I must say I'm not terribly impressed with the Helios lights. I've already had to replace one actinic bulb and now one of the units has stopped working entirely. I've just got a 25 gallon tank but am considering MH lighting instead of T5. I have a DIY wooden canopy that is about 8 - 9 inches high. Anybody have any suggestions on lights that they've used and like?
