Drawback for using larger sized sand in a tank?

I'm starting to rethink my decision to go BB in my new tank and have thought about adding a shallow layer of crushed coral, specifically this stuff. http://www.jlaquatics.com/phpstore/s..._ID=cs-asfcc15

I don't want sand because my maroon clown creates major sandstorms all the time, but I doubt he'd be able to do that with this stuff.

Are there any drawbacks (other than asthetic preference) to using it?
