![]() I want to run 4 60w T12 of the workhorse 7. This is the specs for the ballast:
Maximum Power: 220W Model Number: WH7-120-L Maximum Current: 1.82 AMP Operating Voltage: 120 VAC According to Fulham's diagram, you can only run 2 of these bulbs, which doesn't make sense, as the ballast has 4 red wires which potentially can connect upto 4 bulb. I figured that if you use all 4 wires you would essentially be over drawing power (4x60w=240W) from the ballast. Would this still work, I am aware that may run the ballast hotter and lessen the longivity. Fulham also suggested using workhorse 8 if 2 or more of these bulbs are to be used. Workhorse 8 can do 3 of these bulbs but if Workhorse 7 can do 4 bulbs, I would much rather go that route. Can any electricians help? |
