![]() I'm debating on what to do for flow in my new 70. Standard 48x18x18 with an overflow in the back left and a 1000gph return pump, but I suspect I'm going to dial it down a bit. I did not go with a closed loop on this tank.
As is, I have a seio 620 (600gph), a korilla 1 (400gph) and a korilla 3 (850gph) for a total tank turnover of 26x. The new tank is barebottom, and I don't have too much in the way of softies, just some SPS and LPS which will be mounted on the rocks, so I'm not too concerned about too much flow. What I was thinking of doing is getting rid of the seio and get 2 more korilla 3's. I'd be able to mount one lower in the back on the right, lower in the front on the left, one lower in the left in the front and have the return spill over the top on the back right. That would put me at 42x turn over. Is that too much? |
