PART I - 2 Hours 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon
Title: Technology in the 21st Century

Nick is lecturing this year on military technologies and new breakthroughs in healing technologies that are emerging. He has been lecturing and conducting workshops in alternative health issues demonstrating a number energy technologies to improve human performance. He is also discussing the impacts of our technologies on humankind and the planet in the 21st century. The material presented includes cell phone safety, underwater sonars, mind control technologies and more. The lecture concludes with solutions that could be initiated in the next few years that could change the implications of these technologies from negative to positive. This lecture carries a message about our humanity and our reach toward higher purposes. These new technologies attack the very essence of who we are - they attack the very foundation of our being by wounding the human spirit. This lecture is about both the issues surrounding new technology and sane solutions.

PART 2 - 2 Hours 2:00 PM-4:00 PM
Title: Earth Changes- The Ripple Effect - Alaska Sounds the Alarm

Arctic and Antarctic regions of the world are being profoundly affected by earth changes. The arguments over manmade or natural causes continues to be debated but what can not be denied is -Things are changing regardless of the cause! This lecture addresses many of the issues facing the all of us as residents and stewards of planet earth. The narrator presents his personal experience and knowledge combined with the latest research on these subjects. Climate changes, earthquake increases, pole reversals and pole shifts are discussed using Alaska as an example of the changes now taking place. In addition energy policy and alternatives are discussed as well as some of the economic/political issues related to earth changes. Energy policy issues are discussed in terms strategies that might be applied to state, national and international energy matters.

PART 3 - 2.5 Hours 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Title: Controlling the Human Mind: A Brave New World or Enhancing Human Performance

Manipulation of the mind, emotions and physical health of people through new applied technologies continues to draw the attention of military planners around the world. The most startling advances in this area of technology for both military and private sector uses are presented. The presentation will provide in-depth information, hands-on technology demonstrations, background and forecasts in the development of these areas. Enhancing human performance or controlling human outcomes will be the challenge of the century, raising serious questions on the ethics of the science of mind control. Control of the human mind by external means is now a reality - how we use this technology is the next challenge for this generation. The workshop will go into the background and history of Mind Control and will then discuss some of the advances being applied to enhance human performance. Both sides of the issues are explored and developed in depth.

Nick will present two speeches at the "Future Perspectives" Conference. Each is very different, and if you have any concerns about what life could be like in the future, you will want to hear these presentations on technologies being developed that will effect YOU on an everyday level, and on a global scale.

Part 1: HAARP TECHNOLOGY, WEATHER WARFARE, CLIMATE CHANGE

The combined US Navy and Air Force High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme (HAARP) based in Alaska, has carried out extensive, destructive programmes to "understand, simulate and control ionospheric processes that might alter the performance of communication and surveillance systems".

HAARP is an integral part of a long history of space research and development of a deliberate military nature. The ability of the HAARP / Spacelab / rocket combination to deliver a very large amount of energy, comparable to a nuclear bomb, anywhere on earth via laser and particle beams, is frightening. The military implications of combining these projects, is alarming. Basic to this project is control of communications, both disruption and reliability in hostile environments. The power wielded by such control is obvious.
Such technology is likely to be "sold" to the public as a shield against incoming weapons, or, for the more gullible, a device for repairing the ozone layer.

Part 2: CONTROLLING THE HUMAN MIND: A BRAVE NEW WORLD OR ENHANCING HUMAN PERFORMANCE

Manipulation of the mind, emotions and physical health of people through new applied technologies continues to draw the attention of military planners around the world. Dr. Begich will present the most startling advances in this area of technology for both military and private sector uses, as well as new healing technologies that will transform our lives. The presentation will provide in-depth information, hands-on technology demonstrations, background and forecasts in the development of these areas of science as they affect our society and individual freedom. Enhancing human performance or controlling human outcomes will be the challenge of the century, raising serious questions on the ethics of the science of mind control.

This lecture will delve into the background and history of Mind Control and will then discuss some of the advances being applied to enhance human performance.

Control of the human mind by external means is now a reality - how we use this technology is the next challenge for this generation.

Privacy in the 21st Century

Personal privacy is no longer about the physical doorway to your home but about the digital porthole to your life. Virtually every bit of information stored on individuals is increasing in value in marketing, government propaganda, and manipulation of many kinds in attempting to shape the future. This lecture will explore the impact of overlapping technologies that offer great promise and at the same time present even greater challenges. This lecture will explore electronic voting, RFID tags, dataveillance, cameras in public places, GPS systems, roving wiretaps, and other surveillance systems in use today. Forecasts based on technology trends will also be discussed. This generation is at a crossroads where a vision of a directed and controlled society will be realized or freedom will be redefined in the light of progress.

Health, Electrosmog, Cell Phones and the Wireless World

Electromagnetic field effects on human health will be discussed as well as the insurance industry take on "electrosmog". The issue of cell phones and radio-frequency research as they affect living organisms will be covered in the presentation. New healing energy based systems, biofeedback, light and sound and electro-cranial stimulation will also be covered and demonstrated. Sound transfer systems and audio projection systems will be discussed in the context of transferring sound. The latest work on Mind Effects from the Lay Institute of Technologies Conference this year will also be covered in this lecture.

Tribal Affairs Since Native Land Claims Prospective of a Tribal Administrator

Nick Begich Sr. was Alaska's US Representative when the Native Land Claims was passed through Congress. Prior to its potential and pitfalls being realized he was lost on a plane and unable to finish the work. In the years since and the conflicts prior to the act much has changed. Dr. Nick Begich was the Tribal Administrator and later the Village Planner for Chickaloon Village in Alaska from 1999-2004. Begich's role was to implement a sustainable development model for the village reflective of their culture and belief systems. The Tribe was recognized in 1993 by the Federal government as a Traditional Tribal Government. A history, current changes and opportunities for Alaska villages will be shared on a lessons learned basis. While the ranking members of the current federal administration oppose Tribal Governments in Alaska for reasons that speak to the heart of the injustices done in this region, which remain, unresolved. There are new solutions for the reconciliation of the past with the possibilities of the future being great for all Alaskans.
