that pic was before, i'll post a pic from today later,
one thing i think that helped was changing of the lights. i think the old bulbs helped its grow.
i also removed the sandbed.
i manually removed (scrubbed with a toothbrush the rocks in a pale of sw) a lot of the algae. the tangs seems to be picking at the leftovers and keeping it in check.
have you scrubbed your rocks? that seemed to be the key once i got the phosphate in check. hopefully it stays away!!
