My first car was a 1990 Firefly, basically the same car.
 It was awesome on gas for sure, I just remember though having to take big runs at hills on the highway and keeping the gas pedal to the floor to get up them  Allthough I drive a hummer now and I almost have to do the same thing.. just without the good gas mileage lol!
