Need help with building Beckett SKimmer for over 200g

just order a custom build 250g tank.. will be here in April.. I am looking at building my first skimmer and thinking about Beckett Skimmer and I read that there are good for big tank.

Any experienced nice Edmonton hobbyist got any blue print, guide or information how to get 1 done that can support 250g tank. I have no idea how to get thing start and lost after reading so many mix and match info on the internet... =(
