Default RO/DI for your CA Reactor??

Well it started in another post, and I didn't want to take away from Darren's CA Reactor.
So lets ask again..

Is it better to use RO/DI for your CA Reactor or to take a loop out of your sump?

If we keep our water at ph 8.2-8.4 and we want to get it to a ph of 6 for a CA reactor. Wouldn't it be better to use RO/DI??

RO/DI should have a ph of about 7, hence less co2 to get it to a ph of 6..

Just my take, anyone with REAL knowledge as opposed to my guess??

Gord
